Oyster Catcher

Carved in wood. Painted.

Made by Brian Zobbe, Frederikshavn, c.1955.

The oyster catcher has been carved out of three boards glued together vertically. The head has been carved out of the centre board. The bill is made of wood and mortised into the head. Under the belly there is a hole for a stand.

Part of donation from Brian Zobbe, shipwright. Acquired by the Danish Museum of Hunting and Forestry in 1959.
